Sam’s Club Just Announced a Big Delivery Change You Need to Know About

Published:

In the last few years, there has been an influx of grocery delivery services offering more options than ever before. These additions have been a lifesaver for those who are pressed for time or simply can’t make it to the store. Whether you only need a few ingredients for dinner, decided to plan a spontaneous last-minute celebration, or got knocked down with a cold and need some feel-better essentials, having essentials delivered right to your door—sometimes in just a few hours—can be a huge timesaver.

Many stores have refined their curbside and delivery options to make them more efficient so shoppers can get their orders quickly. Walmart has expanded its rapid delivery options, allowing Walmart Plus customers to choose whether they want their items in 75 minutes, 3 hours or less, or later in the day. Now, Sam’s Club is the latest retailer to offer more delivery choices, giving members an expedited option just in time for all your tailgating and football watch party needs.

Sam’s Club Launches New Express Delivery

Sam’s Club will now offer express delivery so customers can receive their orders in record time. Previously, Sam’s Club only had same-day delivery, which allowed members to sign up for a timeslot between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Express Delivery, however, allows members to receive orders within three hours. Members will be able to order refrigerated and frozen food along with other eligible items directly from the store.

Those who want their order fast should choose the express delivery option at checkout, which will include an $8 delivery fee per order. You’ll then indicate whether you want a contactless delivery or to greet the driver to receive your bags.

And there’s no need to worry about price markups. We know that some stores list higher prices for online shoppers, but Sam’s Club’s website states that you’ll be paying the same price as you would in-club, no matter how you shop.

Currently, there’s no option to change your order once it’s placed so you’ll need to make sure you’ve double-checked your list and cart to ensure everything is how you want it before you click submit. So go ahead, order a dozen cupcakes and your favorite game-day cheeseburger sliders, kick back, and let Sam’s Club take care of the rest.
